Egypt Project

It is well documented that street children in Egypt suffer consistent physical and mental abuse, not only from ordinary members of Egyptian society, but also from the authorities. There are reports of up to 1 million street children existent in Egypt. Some information about Egypt's street children include:

This is not all what the children need. We also have in mind to help them psychologically and emotionally. We have already made contacts with the mosque Assahabi in Cairo who have agreed to help us in different ways voluntarily and we already have youth workers in Cairo working with children on the street. They just talk with them and feed them with whatever they have been able to get as donations from local restaurants and kind people.
